The LOG-IN forum is the original part of the year-round, multi-channel project LOG-IN for the support of innovation in logistics in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. First held in 2004, the goal of the forum is to shine the spotlight on the most innovative solutions, projects and products on the local logistics markets and thereby inspire logistics professionals to innovate the logistics in their companies.
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to organize in-person events, but the logistics market still needs inspiration. That is why the LOG-IN forum is innovating and will take place in May as a Czech-Slovak online forum for innovation in logistics.
PROGRAM FOCUSED ON INNOVATION
The goal of the LOG-IN forum since its inception has been to inspire Czech and Slovak logistics professionals to innovate in order to make their companies’ logistics more effective. This need to innovate has only strengthened during the pandemic, and therefore we will be offering a full course of inspiration for your logistics.
INSPIRING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Keynote speakers inspire us to improve, to find new ways to look at everyday problems, to innovate and streamline our logistics processes. Despite being online, the LOG-IN forum will, true to its tradition, offer an inspirational keynote speech to start the conference off on the right foot.
Case studies have been the backbone of the LOG-IN project from the very beginning. The best way for us to learn how to innovate in our own companies is to hear how suppliers and clients implemented their own projects and what were the results of these projects. The best case studies from logistics can always be found at LOG-IN.
INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Sometimes products and services are so innovative that they haven’t been tried out on the market yet. This doesn’t mean that they do not deserve to be highlighted. On the contrary, the LOG-IN forum is the perfect place to shine the spotlight on innovative products and services that will soon be making their impact on the logistics market.
A key part of any logistics gathering is discussion and debate, and that holds true for the LOG-IN forum as well. In order for innovation to flourish in companies, certain hot topics need to be discussed and debated. The LOG-IN forum brings together the top names in Czech and Slovak logistics and gives them a platform to talk about the major issues affecting the logistics markets.
THE BEST FROM THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND SLOVAKIA
While the rest of the LOG-IN project (web, newsletter, annual report) have for years featured the best innovations from the Czech Republic and Slovakia together, the LOG-IN forums (16 forums have been held in Prague and 13 in Bratislava) have until now been separate. The main benefit of an online forum is that the two forums can be merged, allowing the chance to highlight from separate studios in Prague and Bratislava the best in logistics innovation from both countries during one day.
HUNDREDS OF LOGISTICS PROFESSIONALS ONLINE
Having the LOG-IN forum online means that many more people can tune in to watch than could attend in person. The desire for inspiration, information and discussion is extremely high at the moment, so we expect hundreds of logistics professionals from both the Czech Republic and Slovakia to take the time out of their busy schedules to join us online at LOG-IN.
INTERACTION WITH THE SPEAKERS VIA SLIDO
To be fully informed and inspired, it is often necessary to ask questions of the speakers and discuss their innovative solutions on the spot. This is of course possible even during an online forum thanks to technology such as Slido, which allows participants to ask questions of the speakers through the application which are then read to the speaker by the moderator. And to keep the level of interaction high, regular quizzes and polls will bring the participants together as well.
VIRTUAL MEETING POINTS
Networking is one of the strongest parts of an in-person forum. While nothing can replace the power of a handshake and a face-to-face discussion, the LOG-IN forum will do its best to duplicate the experience by offering virtual meeting points between attendees and partners of the forum. Representatives of the partner companies will be available throughout the day at their virtual stands.
